How we grow
No shortcuts.
Every batch we grow follows the same deliberate process — because the quality of the final product is determined long before harvest day.
Why process matters.
Most cannabis quality problems aren't harvest problems. They're decisions made weeks or months earlier — the wrong genetics, an overcrowded canopy, a rushed dry, a skipped cure. We built our process to eliminate those decisions.
As a licensed Minnesota microbusiness, we're required to maintain detailed cultivation records. We go further: we publish our methods, share our test results, and welcome questions. If you're a medical patient making a treatment decision, you deserve to know exactly how your medicine was grown.
It starts with the right seed.
We don't grow everything. We grow strains we've vetted for terpene complexity, cannabinoid profile, and performance in Minnesota's climate — which means cold winters, variable humidity, and a short outdoor season that shapes how we think about indoor environment management.
Before a new cultivar enters our rotation, we run small test batches, evaluate the results, and compare against our quality benchmarks. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't go to customers.
Quality standards
- Terpene profile verified before scaling
- Minnesota climate compatibility tested
- Cannabinoid ratios documented at selection
Building the foundation.
During veg, we focus on root development and canopy structure. Plants are hand-trained using low-stress techniques — no aggressive topping schedules, no shortcuts. We want a plant that's structurally sound before it ever sees a flowering light cycle.
Our grow environment is dialed in: temperature, humidity, CO₂, and airflow are monitored continuously. We log daily observations for every plant. If something looks off, we catch it here — not at harvest.
Quality standards
- Hand-trained canopy, low-stress methods only
- Daily environmental monitoring and logging
- Root health inspected before transition to flower
Where patience pays off.
We run full flowering cycles — no early harvest to hit a sales window. Trichome maturity is assessed visually under magnification and confirmed against our target cannabinoid profile. We harvest when the plant is ready, not when the calendar says so.
Nutrient inputs are dialed back progressively through late flower to allow the plant to fully express its terpene profile. A clean flush produces cleaner-tasting flower — and we can taste the difference.
Quality standards
- Full cycle run — no early harvest
- Trichome maturity confirmed under magnification
- Progressive nutrient taper through late flower
The finish is everything.
We harvest by hand, whole-plant, and hang-dry in a controlled environment at 60°F and 60% relative humidity. Slow drying preserves terpenes that a fast dry destroys. We don't rush this.
After drying, flower is hand-trimmed and moved into sealed cure vessels for a minimum of 21 days. We burp daily during the first week, then taper. The result is flower that smells, tastes, and burns the way it should.
Quality standards
- Whole-plant hang dry at 60°F / 60% RH
- Hand-trimmed — no machine processing
- Minimum 21-day sealed cure before release
Third-party verified. Always.
Every batch is tested by a Minnesota-licensed independent laboratory before it reaches customers. We test for cannabinoid potency, terpene profile, residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbials — the full panel.
Test results are available for every product we sell. Ask us for a COA (Certificate of Analysis) at any time. We believe transparency isn't a marketing position — it's a baseline obligation to the people who use our products.
Quality standards
- Full-panel testing — potency, terpenes, contaminants
- MN-licensed independent laboratory
- COA available for every batch on request
A note on medical patients.
We take our responsibility to medical cannabis patients seriously. If you're using cannabis to manage a medical condition, we'll take the time to walk you through our test results, explain terpene profiles, and help you find the right product for your needs. Come in, call, or email — we're here to help.
